Roger McMurray, Newport News, Virginia, is building this 1936 120B rumble seat coupe. This Packard coupe has rumble seat and trunk, unusual for cars of the 30’s. Roger is installing a Chev. 383 stroker engine, 350 turbo transmission, 1978 Trans Am front suspension with rack and pinion and a ’93 Camaro rear. Seats have been redone, glass cut, floor replaced and reinforced with 3/4 by 2″ tubing. Roger is working on the wiring and has started body work.
Roger just sent me the following pictures showing the progress he has made on his 1936 coupe. And when will the Packard be finished? “When pigs fly?” Notice the hood ornament. Nice touch, Roger.
